I have some announcements to make.
#1. I'm back online!!!
As in, I finally have wireless working again at home! Thanks to the good work of Kah and Kevin!!! After spending one and a half hours configuring my modem and changing the settings of this and that - finally I have internet to use on my laptop! So happy (just like Kah)~
#2. BEE BEE QUE turns Pot Bless
Thanks to all who came to my BBQ... which turned into a pot bless - because there was no BEE BEE QUE to be seen! Sorry - had to make last minute changes =) It was a pleasure catching up with everyone, and sorry if I didn't get to talk to you much but yeah, hope everyone had a good time and hope you all liked the food. Favourites were my mother's lamb curry, Gabrielle's chocolate brownies and Mingsters Cabonara!
#3. Sick.. I'm sick with a sore throat and no voice from all the QC (quality control) that I had to do with the "BBQ" food! At least Pauline looks worried that I'm sick... "*haiyooo* weiwei sick har.... what to do ... *actually I got assignments to think about that are more important*" says Pauline.
#4. Friday night fun
Had much fun and laughter in cell on Friday. Every Friday, I look forward so much to going to cell after a long tiring and busy week, because I know I'll laugh the most of Friday nights! We played a super long game with much much laughter! After cell, we ended up taking photos! Trying to take Ah Fook's *not-so-big* eyes...

#5. Job Hunting
Over the long Anzac Day weekend, I applied for many jobs before 12pm on Saturday. Good thing I did because after that, my wireless totally took a disliking to me and decided it didn't want to work anymore. By God's prompting and timing, I finally stopped procrastinating and applied for all the jobs I wanted to. God sees above all imperfections too! For the first 3 jobs I applied for I was soo blurrr.... because I use a cover letter template and resume... and I forgot to update my number because it changed, and also THE DATE on the cover letter. WAH LAU! MALU TO THE MAX!!!
Now I just needed to wait for the employers to reply. I was thinking it might even be a month before I get a reply from anyone. But low and behold, on Monday morning, I got a call at 9am from a lady from a recruitment agency asking me to go for an interview! Imagine that! Praise God! I was thinking, "Oh no, I'm at work... how am I going to attend an interview during business hours." The lady gave me all the free time slots she had 1pm... 2pm... 3pm... wah lau... got anything later than that? 4:30pm. By God's grace my supervisor said I can leave early and make up the hours the next day.
So I left work at 4:10pm... *traffic jam* hai yoks! I'm going to be late! BUT - by the Grace of God I got there 4:30pm on the dot with detours included because the place is hard to find and I was half looking at the map, half praying, half trying to compose some questions and answers in my head, half thinking what position I even applied for in the first place and half driving! Praise God He got me there safe and sound!
I went to the interview... not expecting to be interviewd - but I thought she was just going to make me fill in some paperwork and ask a few questions. But thank God she made me feel welcome and really comfortable. She even said that she was impressed by my resume and she wouldn't have simply called anyone for an interview if she didn't think they have potential. Wah lau - I was so touched! =) Interview went well... and I will know by next week or the week after if I have an actual interview with the company.
#6. Laughter is the best medicine.
