One Year Without Facebook Project

In April 2009, I went on a mission. To quit Facebook - the evil of all time wasters!!!
Initially, I set out to quit for one month...to test the waters, to see if I could even achieve life without facebook for a month. One month, turned into two months, turned into 3 months... and now I'm just 1 week shy of no facebook for ONE YEAR (well, sort of - I did cheat a little bit)!
I wonder what has changed on facebook? I wonder how many new people I have met since a year ago? Do people still poke each other? Or do people still play fluff pets or Texam Poker or... that stupid vampire thing? Gosh, it seems so childish now...
What did I miss about facebook the most? Probably checking out people's photos above all. Life without facebook meant you recieved information MUCH slower... but that was ok, I had a FB spy the entire time. My spy updated me only on the juicy bits :P
The past year without facebook has actually been really eye-opening - I'm not sure if that's the word to use. 2009 was a challenging year, a lot happened and life without facebook was probably good, in the sense that I didn't have to waste time using it. I had a lot ministry things to do to keep me busy, so for months on end, I even forgot that facebook existed, and I also stopped facebooking at work :O... and actually did some work! :)
My hope is that...I will not be the same facebook user one year ago.
See you all in one week :)
